The Library was delighted to work in collaboration with UCD Research to host a class of Science Apprentices from Rutland Street NS on World Book Day – March 2nd. A class took place in James Joyce Library where a group of researchers chatted to the pupils about their research, led activities and fielded questions. Each child took home with them a set of the excellent Science Apprentice books, each one featuring a UCD Researcher as part of the content.
This was the first event of this kind in the Library and as it was very successful we hope to build more such visits into our plans.
