UCC Library has been announced as a runner up in the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) Green Library Award. This award recognises the work of UCC Library’s Love Our Library green sustainability campaign. IFLA noted that UCC Library receives special recognition of excellence for developing a road map for other organisations to follow in sustainability efforts.
UCC Library is the only Irish library to be recognised for these awards, with other winners located in Columbia, Hungary, France, Slovenia, and the US.
