Description:  A one-day seminar / workshop, organised jointly by CONUL Training & Development and CONUL Communications & Outreach.

Making an Impact with your Library’s Social Media is the theme of the inaugural joint CONUL Training & Development & CONUL Communications and Outreach training event. The seminar takes place on the 25th January 2019 in the Creative Zone, Boole Library, University College Cork.

The training will be delivered by Cian Corbett, Social Media Marketer & Lecturer.  Cian will provide a comprehensive overview of the social media landscape and provide you with user friendly guidelines to allow you to devise a strategic social media plan for your institution.

Course Objectives:  This course is aimed at staff involved with and / or whom are interested in the potential of social media to enhance their library services and users’ experiences.   On completion of this workshop / seminar attendees will have guidelines to allow them to devise social media plans for their institutions.   Cian will give a comprehensive overview of the social media landscape and provide easy to use take-home guidelines to allow you to devise a strategic social media plan for your Institution.
