18-22 June 2018: ERASMUS Staff Mobility Week

In support of CONUL’s strategic objective of being the platform for our international presence, CONUL Training & Development is delighted to announce the second collaborative ERASMUS Library.

The libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University College Dublin and  University of Dublin, Trinity College have come together to provide a dynamic and engaging programme of training for library colleagues under the ERASMUS scheme.

The programme consists of presentations by library staff in the organising institutions, presentations from the selected participants, joint group work exercises and other interactive tasks. It will also include visits to the libraries of Dublin City University, Dublin Institute of Technology, Maynooth University, National Library of Ireland, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, University College Dublin and  University of Dublin, Trinity College.

The target group is professional library staff with varied backgrounds working in universities or other research orientated libraries with an interest in sharing ideas and networking with colleagues. All participants must be awarded ERASMUS funding from their home institutions.

This year, one librarian from each of the participating CONUL institutions will have the opportunity to attend the programme and to interact with international colleagues.
