Learn Digital Skills with UL Librarians

During Digital Skills Week 2017, librarians at the Glucksman Library, with journalism students at UL, will teach people how to Go Beyond Headlines and spot Fake News. This event will take place as part of the Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival and members of the public will be invited to learn about trustworthy news sources and how to navigate the media maze.

During the festival, people will also have a chance to attend the Glucksman Library’s popular Attics to Archives workshop  Attendees can bring along family photographs, letters or home movies and learn from experienced digitisation and archives professionals how to care for these items.
