Irish Libraries and Covid-19: First Reflections

The COVID-19 global pandemic has impacted every aspect of life.

Irish libraries have responded in a variety of ways to this challenge. This free half-day online seminar organised by Maynooth University Library will capture initial reflections about this response and share what has been learnt.  This will assist the ongoing challenge and help inform lessons for the future.  It will also be an opportunity for colleagues to network virtually during this challenging time.

Hear from librarians from public libraries, health libraries, academic libraries and the National Library of Ireland.  Confirmed speakers include Alan Carbery (UCC), Dr. Sandra Collins (NLI), Aoife Lawton (HSE) and Marian Higgins (Kildare Co. Co. and President of the LAI).

When: 9.30 – 12.30 Thursday May 14th 2020

Registration information and more details to follow next week…
