Copyright in Higher Education – Seminar in DIT

Join us for a seminar on copyright and licensing in third level institutions on Thursday 24 May.

In the digital age of sharing, copyright and licensing seem anachronistic but they still very much apply and breaching the terms of the Copyright Act or failing to comply with Licensing can have serious consequences for both the individual and the institution they work in.

This seminar will cover copyright and licensing in third level education, including the Irish Copyright Licensing Agency (ICLA) license. Speakers include Professor Eoin O’Dell, Associate Professor of Law, Trinity College Dublin, and Samantha Holman, Chief Executive Officer of the Irish Copyright Licensing Agency.

Registration is open to all DIT staff and students and is free. Places are limited so if you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible so the place can be offered to someone else. Register on Eventbrite.
