CONUL Training & Development Research Award

CONUL Training and Development are pleased to announce the sixth Research Award.

The objective of this award is to encourage practitioner-based research and innovation among librarians in CONUL member libraries.  Entries are invited from qualified librarians, archivists, or staff on equivalent grades in CONUL member libraries who are currently engaged in or wishing to undertake a research project. The value of the award is up to a maximum of €2,000 and the award will be the sole source of funding for the research project.

Research may be on any topic of relevance to the individual or their library.  Research proposals which have applicability to other CONUL libraries and/or support the CONUL Strategy 2016-19 will be particularly welcome.  The judging panel will be looking for an awareness of reflective practice, evidence-based practice and sound research methodology.  Proposals, approximately 1,000 words, should be submitted via your institutions CONUL Training & Development representative.
