The Library Association of Ireland are delighted to announce the call for submissions for the LAI/CILIP Joint Annual Conference on 25th and 26th of March 2020, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dundalk, Co Louth.
The LAI/CILIP Joint Annual Conference will address the theme of ‘Libraries: A World of Possibilities’. We would like to hear from both members and non-members about the work happening in libraries across Ireland and beyond. We are inviting submissions from ALL types of libraries and information centres (including from students) to submit proposals for presentations and posters that cover any aspect of our theme, including, but not limited to:

New or redesigned, repurposed, redeveloped, refurbished library spaces

Regeneration of a community thanks to the library
-
Technologies that open up the library to the world or bring ideas into the library Services which enhance the library
-
Attitudes towards libraries and librarians
-
Leadership in libraries including succession planning
-
Teaching and learning that happens in libraries
The deadline for submissions of abstracts is midnight, Monday 19th January 2020.
