A successful collaboration ─ new exhibition at the RIA Library!
On 30 June, a new exhibition ─ ‘Representations of Jews in Irish literature’ ─ was launched at the Royal Irish Academy Library by the Vice-Chair of the Irish-Jewish Museum, Ms Yvonne Altman-O’Connor, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Ze’ev Boker, Mrs Boker, and guests. The exhibition is just one outcome of several projected publications and a dedicated website will go live in early autumn. Funded by the UK’s Arts & Humanities Research Council, the project is a collaboration between Ulster University and NUI Galway (Project Leader: Professor Pól Ó Dochartaigh, MRIA, Vice-President, NUI Galway), with the support of the Academy Library and the Irish-Jewish Museum, Dublin.
The exhibition was very well received ─ it is now open to all, Mon.-Fri. 10.00-17.00 hrs, until 5 August.
