Remembering 1916 A series of interviews made with Dublin people in the years 1979 and 1980 contain vivid eyewitness accounts of the 1916 Easter Rising and the events leading to independence and the Civil War. They form part of the Urban Folklore Project, which was undertaken by the Department of Irish Folklore, University College Dublin.
