On March 21-23 UCD welcomed over 300 delegates from Ireland and many other countries to the well-established and high profile LILAC Information Literacy conference. It was a very significant commitment of time to volunteer UCD as the host for the conference and to provide the local committee to organise local aspects of the event, and it is thus very pleasing that the event was very well received from all points of view including practical matters and signage, content, and the social programme which encompassed both the Chester Beatty Library and the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
