CONUL is a consortium of Ireland's main research libraries. Its mission is to develop and improve the library and information services of the CONUL members through the exchange of experience and the organisation of cooperative activities.

Regulatory Affairs

Focusing on copyright and other regulatory affairs of interest to libraries.

Collections, Preservation & Conservation

This group will examine CONUL collections, special and otherwise, with a view to identifying their accessibility, condition, preservation and other needs. This group will also investigate the current storage requirements of CONUL libraries.

Teaching and Learning

Working to promote the role and measure the value of, libraries in teaching and learning within Higher Education. This committee progresses and builds on the work of the Advisory Committee on Information Literacy (ACIL) (2002-2013)

Digital Services & Infrastructure

A CONUL work group is developing a national approach to the digitisation of collections and issues surrounding 'born digital' content.

ANLTC (CONUL Staff Training & Development)

A CONUL committee that identifies training needs within member libraries to form the basis of an ongoing co-operative training and development programme.

Research Support

Working to develop a research support tool kit addressing Bibliometrics,data management and publications strategy.
